Yes — a parked car is one of the most private and popular telehealth locations. Make sure you

have a stable cell or hotspot connection, park somewhere quiet, and use earbuds for audio

quality and privacy.

Telehealth video requires a relatively modest connection (10 Mbps). Most rural Texas

broadband and cellular connections meet this threshold. If your connection is very slow,

turning off other devices on your network (streaming TVs, gaming consoles) during the

appointment can help. A 4G LTE or 5G cellular hotspot works well as an alternative.

Yes. Michael can prescribe, manage, and refill most psychiatric medications via telehealth,

including controlled substances such as ADHD stimulants, under Texas law. Prescriptions are

sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.

As long as your camera is working and you have adequate lighting (facing a light source rather

than sitting with a bright window behind you), Michael can see you clearly. He has been

conducting telehealth appointments for years and is experienced in conducting thorough

clinical assessments via video.

Yes. If you would like a trusted family member or support person to be present during part or

all of your appointment, please let Michael know at the beginning of the session. This is

especially common for first appointments. Please note that certain confidential portions of the

discussion may be conducted with just you and Michael.

visits, following federal legislation that expanded telehealth coverage. However, coverage varies
